Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking for experienced Printed Circuit Board (PCB) solderers. Experience of forming components, hand soldering and reading drawings etc.
Essential Responsibilities
· General electronics and mechanical assembly work.
· Ability to recognise and identify components.
· Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions.
· Good concentration and attention to detail.
· Able to produce work of high quality.
· Dextrous and able to work on small products.
· A flexible and co-operative approach.
· Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace.
· Experience of self-directed work teams and teaming.
· Awareness of customer expectations and business requirements.
· Ensure tools and fixtures are fit for purpose and calibrated.
· Ability to work effectively on production units.
· Maintain good housekeeping standards.
· Comply with health and safety policies and quality procedures (Including COSHH and ASEN9100) standard.
· Assist in other areas of manufacturing when required and trained to do so.
· Ability to understand and follow drawings and instructions and interpret them.
· Ability to assemble Printed circuit boards.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Manufacturing and Soldering experience.
· Microsoft Office applications.
· Quality recording systems (TipQA) & Quality control procedures or equivalent knowledge and experience.
· Must be a team player as well as being able to work independently and be self-motivated.
· The successful candidate must be detail oriented, computer literate and capable of learning new concepts quickly.
