Role Summary/Purpose

The Avio Aero Test Bench Equipment Designer, will be the specialist person who will cover the mechanical, fluidic matter pertaining test benches and test cells. As part of the Test Bench team, you will identify and define the main requirements of new test benches and test cells for most of the Avio Aero sites.
Essential Responsibilities

As Test Bench Equipment Designer”, you will have the responisibilites to: 

·  Design, install and commission test cells systems and subsystems  
·  Identify and define the requirements of test ceslls systems and submystems 
·  Identify and define the interface with other Systems/Subsystems 
·  Run preliminary risk evaluation 
·  Draw up a preliminary design of the equipment together with cost estimation

·  High speed and power mechanical transmission(up to 10 MV and 10000 rpm and more) 
·  Mechainical Structure 
·  Special aquipment to interface aircraft engine or its main components 
·  Force, speed and torque measuring systems T
·  urbofan engine installation and thrust measurement 
·  Turbo prop installation Indoor turbofan test cell, 
·  Air system Engine test Noise control and measurement 
·  Brake system to simulate engine load during test for turboshaft engine or power gearboxes 
·  Safety in the mechanical field over speed/over torque/overload
·  Fluidic Systems
·  lubrication systems, High temperature and aircraft fluid compatibility 
·  Hydraulic systems including high pressure systems 
·  Hydraulic jack with force-controlled actuator 
·  Cooling water closed loop systems 
·  Compressed air system 
·  Ventilation; Air pollution control system 
·  Engine and major component handling, safety system

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering is preferred, but a strong experience is valuable

·       
Previous strong
experience in a technical position referring to the entire test cell or its
main component design

Knowledge of
