Role Summary/Purpose

This job is a Machinist . Duties are subject to change as the assigned mentor sees fit. The duties laid out below is intended to provide the necessary skills to be a technical Machinist or to be a mechanical lead in the shop in the future.
Essential Responsibilities

 Strictly follow EHS policies and quality standards.
 Read and interpret part drawings and process prints.
 Ability to perform run out check for Rotors and individual parts.
 Capable to do burnishing and skim cut, under size & final machining for all types of Rotors.
 Ability to operate the VTL machine (vertical boring machine) and to do all types of machining with no supervision.
 Ability to do reemerging, drilling, tapping, etc.
 Capable to do burnishing and skim cut, patch ring, aluminum / cupper sleeves, & threading…
 Capable to operate cup grinder & do grinding on Rotor’s faces.
 Ability to perform final accurate dimensions on all parts
Qualifications/Requirements

 Read and interpret part drawings and process prints.
 Work closely with Supervisors Engineer to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
 Will be required to perform efficiently with little or no supervision.
 Capable to use instrument for measurement check
 Follow 5S (Sort, stabilize, shine, standardize, sustain) Lean Principles, safety rules and regulations.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
 Diploma or Technical college degree or equivalent
 5 to 10-year experience.
 Residente in KSA with transferable Iqama.
