Role Summary/Purpose
Prepare surfaces for braze by cleaning. Apply braze alloys and flow control materials in all forms. Remove stopoff, or correct product irregularities.
Essential Responsibilities
Inspect parts using standard and special measuring instruments to include borescope, gages, hardness testers, indicators, verniers, pins and micrometers. Visually inspect parts to determine the nature and extent of nonconformance such as braze splatter, wetouts, nicks, and scratches
Receive, store and ship parts, materials, equipment, tools and shop suppliers. Clean and provide labor services for assigned areas. Load and unload parts, pellets and powders from boxes, prepare different powders by weighing, mixing, and blending. Prepare parts by taping, waxing, cleaning and as required. Work to exact specifications from written or verbal instructions and blueprints. Maintain records and perform related duties.

Qualifications/Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year manufacturing experience
• Experience using shop math
