Essential Responsibilities

·  Acting as a link between R&D / I+D and rest of Departments 
·  Managing EOL (End Of Life) and LT (Lead Time) issues with Materials Planner, and supporting Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing and Operations for all impacted tasks 
·  Managing Cost-Outs initiatives 
·  Providing support on Manufacturing issues and First Pass Yield 
·  Leading support on Quality issues (5why, RCA, Escaping defects), and troubleshooting processes 
·  Leading support on Certification/Homologations (CE, UL, EAC, LLOYD’s…) processes in External labs 
·  Providing training and support to other Departments (Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing, SAS, Field Eng) 
·  Developing of instructions and other technical documentation 
·  For assigned NPI (New Product Introduction) Programs, to work close to Program Manager and take full responsibility of the readiness and deployment of all necessary documentation, and coordinate activities with Industrialization team

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics) or equivalent knowledge or experience 
·  Strong working experience
Background in protection and grid automation 
·  Fluent in English and Spanish, other languages valued 
·  Knowledge in CAD software (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, CAD…) valued 
·  Knowledge in Software Programming (C-Sharp, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Basic, Python…) valued 
·  Knowledge in IEC Standards (60255, 61000…) valued
·  Knowledge in PLM software (BaaN, Windchill, Omnify…) valued 
·  Knowledge in Product Certification process (CE, UL, EAC, LLOYD’s…) valued
