Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the GE India Multi-modal Manufacturing team, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for enabling the production activity by planning of manpower and material, job allocation, shift scheduling , fixture management, WIP management.
Essential Responsibilities

Should have knowledge of designing checking and assembly fixtures
-Will be responsible from start to end of the project.
-Should have good Unigraphics (UGNX) software knowledge.
-Should be have knowledge of GD&T
-Should have good knowledge about tool cost calculation
-Required good knowledge about manufacturing
-Should be good at communication.
-Should have skill of analytical thinking.
-Should have good attitude of working.
-Should be good at fixture related calculations.
-Should be ready to travel as expected.
-Should have minimum 2 years of experience working in design of machining center fixtures.
-Should know Work handling techniques
-Should have good Manufacturing drawing making Skill.
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Diploma in mechanical
2. 2-4 years in Tool room
- Drawing study (Both CAD / NX)
- Process / Product knowledge
- Reverse Engineering
