Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the GE India Multi-modal Manufacturing team, the diploma engineer is responsible for programming, tube bending of various dia, and produce defect free parts with continual improvement of overall productivity.
Essential Responsibilities

• Bending programming and knowledge of EPA operation.
• Rework and identify the defective parts
• Ability to analyze and interpret design drawings, manuals, SOP and other material to determine finish product.
• Knowledge of dies , mandrels and machine parameter setting.
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Any graduate or Diploma with 2 – 3 years of experience programming on bending machine.
2. Knowledge of dies and mandrels
3. Highest Levels of Personal Integrity and Safety Mindset.
4. Experience in engineering industry – with firsthand experience of assembly shop.
Desired Characteristics

1. Programming on Bending machine.
2. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
3. Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously and Ability to work in a matrix organization.
4. Good oral and written communication skills
5. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Methodology
