Role Summary/Purpose

Fall Semester-As a Global Learning Intern you will be exposed to Lean business practices while providing support for one or more GE businesses, developing business acumen and improvement process(s). Develop effective relationships with internal and external customers. Assist with identifying and resolving operational issues & support process improvements. Gain experience working cross functionally with internal teams and customers.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Evaluate and execute Learning Management Systems (LMS) Activities for all GE Businesses, for example, processing: Assignments, eLearning courses, new, modifications, revisions, completion credit, course removals, content testing, curriculum's, adding/revising/deactivating, exams, new, modifications, revisions, exam resets, instructor led training, offerings, roster management, read & acknowledgements (documents/flat files) 
·  Attend training for LMS activities (for example – system upgrades, migrated work, new ticket types, etc.) 
·  Collaborate with project teams
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Must be a full-time, matriculated student at an accredited college or university for the entire internship 
·  Must be a Senior or in Grad School with a minimum GPA of 3.0 
·  Must commit to one semester (no summer internships) 
·  Must meet minimum hour requirements: 
·  20 hours per week during school 
·  40 hours per week when school is not in session 
·  Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for future sponsorship.

·  Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy 
·  Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills 
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 
·  Self-motivated and can manage multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision 
·  Ability to learn fast and achieve 
·  Able to manage data electronically 
·  Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) 
·  Analytical and problem resolution skills
