Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for planning, designing and implementation of Lean Training Program for GE Power Supply Chain. Determine innovative ways to train/educate employees, making training both fun and effective. Execute lean learning solutions globally across Power Global Supply Chain, including identifying, analyzing and prioritizing training needs.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Own, develop, and manage Lean training curriculum to address training needs, and define process with business learning teams to maintain localized versions of content as needed
·  Employ cutting-edge technology to innovate new, fun and effective training methods to redefine our end user experience and adoption
·  Coordinate logistics and delivery of global training curriculum to the different Value Streams and Global Supply Chain function employees, partner with OTD, Value Streams, and functions’ HR Leaders as needed
·  Conduct Lean capability model assessments and support the findings with scalable and measurable learning strategies for employees
·  Formulate delivery strategies for curricula, including train-the-trainer, eLearning, and internal and/or external instructor development

·  Track progress and compliance measured training effectiveness in terms of impact on business goals, behavior change, and return on investment; monitor and adjust accordingly

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

·  Minimum 5 years of Lean Experience/Lean Transformation
Desired Characteristics

·  Global Supply Chain learning and development experience
·  Black Belt or Masters Six Sigma Certification preferred
·  Experience working with/implementing Shingijutsu/Toyota Lean methodologies 
·  Considerable years of experience in learning and development, organizational development and/or human resources with exposure to senior leadership teams
·  Strong project management skills
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
·  Effective problem identification and solution skills
·  Experience leading Lean and/or Kaizen events
·  Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (or equivalent)
