Role Summary/Purpose
The LM global Health & Safety expert role, is part of the LM wind power EHS core team and supports business and operation full time. Function’s mission is to be completely integrated in all large or small process of the enterprise in order analyze, advise, and create the adapted solutions in order to facilitate the business growth model, with a particular focus on all health & safety subjects.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement H&S strategies to support the LM WP operations to world class EHS performance
• Define and communicate expectations in terms of compliance with the health and safety program for LM
• Develop, improve and Lead the implementation of Health & safety programs based on needs and LM Risk.
• Lead & support the deployment of the GE FW2.0 inside all the entities and support the alignment of the certification on ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001
• Owner of the LM H&S programs inside the EHS managements system, You will have to work as a team with the environmental manager and governance manager in order to build/improve a coherent, simple and pragmatic global EHS management system.
• Drive the simplification and standardization in your domain
• Deploy your expertise on Industrial hygiene for all entities, in order to reduce employee’s exposure and Company risk.
• Assume the role of Ergonomics Manager within by supporting the implementation of the GE ergonomics program, and engage new initiatives to reduce risk.
• Promote human factors by the HOP program and be the Human Factors Champion for the business, driving rigor in RCA and H & S program execution
• Lead, and develop Well-being initiative for the business.
• Coordinate, conduct, and lead all types of EHS audits regarding H&S
• Deploy trainings to EHS Site leaders if need.
• Be a talent developer manager for the EHS function on the Health & safety matter for the EHS community
• Understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast business impacts
Qualifications/Requirements
• 5 years degree from an accredited university or college in Health & Safety, Environment, Science (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 of which must be in a leadership position, with exposure to several EHS areas in a projects/ manufacturing / services / operations environment
