Role Summary/Purpose

Perform various production to support thermal operations of ceramic matrix composites for turbine and aerospace industries.

This role is a 1st shift position and the hours will be 6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Responsibilities

·  Responsible for operating at least one of autoclave, burnout and melt infiltration furnaces

·  Responsible for performing all support functions such as grit blasting, tool cleaning, spraying MI, BN coat parts

·  Follows Thermal team standard work practices

·  Understands, maintains and implements lean principles within manufacturing practices

·  Ability to perform minor trouble shooting on equipment

·  Verifies and records & maintains accurate production data

·  Follows area work instructions

Qualifications/Requirements

·  High school diploma / GED

·  One year experience working in a manufacturing environment (Or training certificate applicable to one of the four manufacturing areas)

·  Experienced with entering data into a database

·  Ability to work in a teaming environment

·  Good verbal and written communication skills
