Role Summary/Purpose

Advanced Visualization tools are used to increase the efficiency of both technologists and radiologists. These applications focus on having automatic segmentation of various organs as well as intuitive workflows for manual editions and flexibility for a wide range of user needs. We are seeking radiologic technologist students who are interested in working with advanced visualization software packages and developing an understanding for bringing new technologies to the field of radiology.
Essential Responsibilities

GE Healthcare is looking for radiology students who are interested in expanding their knowledge and experience with 3D Advanced Visualization software for processing of CT datasets. Interns will assist our clinical product development team with clinical scenario testing of CT 3D post processing applications across the different care areas of oncology, cardiovascular and neurology. Position will involve; testing of new software builds, utilizing strategies that simulate real world use case scenarios, creating segmented models and ground truth annotations for new algorithm development as well as giving feedback on overall usability of applications.
Qualifications/Requirements

Must be a full-time student, as defined by your university, pursuing a degree in Radiologic Technology.
3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale)
Current School Level : Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Masters
Must be able to work ~8 hours per week, with flexible hours/days per week for 6-9 months
Must be able to work out of Waukesha, WI facility
