Role Summary/Purpose

The Finance Co-Op will be working with finance leaders within the new GE Lighting organization (January 2020- June 2020). Candidate must be available to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the program.

In the role of Finance Co-Op, you will be provided opportunities to take the skills you have learned and use them in real world applications.
Essential Responsibilities

·  In addition, as the Finance Co-Op, you will:

·  Business Support - As Services evolves there will be an opportunity to provide assistance in the following:

·  Running finance models and analyze deal profitability

·  Gather information for new deal models - This data will provide the Finance Manager with the information needed for reporting and presenting to both the customers and the business

·  Learn organization and technical skills while gaining professional experience

·  Exposure to role models immediate supervisor and other mentors

·  Opportunity to broaden knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel by doing analysis and working with pivots and databases

·  Opportunities to implement recommendations
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Full-time student enrolled in 4 year accredited college or university program pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, math or related field

·  Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average

·  Minimum 1 year left before graduation

·  Minimum 2 semesters of accounting and/or finance coursework completed
