Role Summary/Purpose

Entry level Electronics Assembler will be provided all required trainings leading to certification as Electronics Assembler. The Assembler will perform a variety of precision bench assembly operations in accordance with military specifications, such as wiring, soldering, bonding of subassemblies for a variety of complex electronic components and instruments. Performs other related duties of comparable complexity as directed.
Essential Responsibilities

Performs basic tasks such as mechanical assembly, potting encapsulation, cut, strip, tin wire, drilling shells, touch up paint, stenciling. After your training you will be able to work from schematics, assembly prints, parts list and written or oral instructions.
2. Follows operation sheets, engineering drawings and engineering change orders in completion of the assembly tasks
3. Exercises care to ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that the part or finished product meets the quality specifications
4. Maintains records as required to charge direct labor time to specific product amounts
5. Performs duties using a variety of small hand tools and related production equipment
6. Performs other routine operations within fairly similar situations as required
7. Must be able to effectively communicate with and engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.
Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS office excel and outlook.
8. Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner
9. Understands and complies with all Company, safety rules and regulations
10. Engages and participates in a self – directed teaming environment
Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements/Knowledge:
 Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Take & pass required employer on-site, paid trainings in IPC-A-610 & J Std 001 Certification (Must obtain within probationary period)
 Experience
o No work experience required
 Skill Level Required:
o Skills required in handling or ability to learn to handle & use basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as micrometers, radius gauges, calipers, etc.
o Possesses basic computer skills including MS office and outlook.
o Skills required in basic shop math
o Should possess dexterity skills, good hand & eye coordination
