Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for engineering the electrical subsystems for both Anesthesia and Respiratory devices to include: Circuit design, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. You will determine design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results. Common skill sets include Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, PLLs, ADCs, DACs etc. Individual will develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting. Individual will be responsible for project communications regarding the technical elements and present outcomes of development activities.
The candidate will define electronics subsystem requirements and verification of such. They will be responsible for electronic design execution, including VHDL, firmware and schematic electronics design deliverables. They will interface with the global Electrical, Software, Program, and Mechanical Engineering teams. They will be a key GE Interface with groups such as; Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Cyber Security, Service, and Digital as well as external partners and customers.
Qualifications/Requirements

BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering and 4 years relevant work experience.

• Electrical CAD Experience (Cadence)
• Deep technical domain in technologies listed in Essential Responsibilities Section.
• 6 Sigma Black Belt Certified
• Reliability Practitioner Certified
• Anesthesia and Respiratory hardware experience
• Ability to communicate with strategic suppliers in USA, China, and India.
• Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
• Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology.
• Demonstrate a motivated, self-starter attitude.
• Effective communication skills and boundaryless behavior—ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to close and finish on tasks quickly.
