Role Summary/Purpose

If you love Aviation technology and want a career in engineering, the Edison Engineering
Development Program (EEDP) is for you! EEDP is an entry-level engineering program consisting
of rotational assignments and technical training. GE is committed to the development of
tomorrow’s technologists, who have a real passion for Aviation and a drive for technical
excellence.
Essential Responsibilities

The GE Aviation EEDP is designed to accelerate your professional development through intense
technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments. As an Aviation EEDP, you will:
•Work on at least 3 rotations over 2-3 years in a variety of disciplines.
•Receive technical training, mentor ship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
•Participate in leadership development training with GE program members from other business and locations.
•Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering.
•Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
•As an Edison Engineer in TTC, assignments are primarily focused on Turbomachinery Design, you have the opportunity to work on a variety of high priority teams, potentially including mechanical hardware design (such as Airfoil, Structure, Rotor), aeromechanics, thermal system design, stress and life analysis, manufacturing, repair, additive, and more.
Qualifications/Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace
Engineering, Material Science Engineering similar, or similar disciplines.
•GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall.
•Excellent command of written and spoken English.

•Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
•Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering.
•Demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple

•Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international
environment.
