Role Summary/Purpose

The Transformation Team reports into the Transformation Officer and is developing a transformation approach for Power, as well as support various Triage efforts underway. As a team they are responsible for developing innovative solutions to deliver incremental customer value while managing company risk and reward. The role requires understanding of the Gas Power Systems and Power Services businesses and how functions integrate with the other functions within them.
Essential Responsibilities

As the Business Operations Lean Transformation Analyst you will:

·  Project manage targeted projects and initiatives
·  Collecting current state process documents from experts and develop current state process flow document in ppt or Excel
·  Collect and prepare pain point lists and develop ways to present them in SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, & Customers) format
·  Collect metrics from each team, debate them and help present them in understandable ways
·  Help brainstorm and develop solutions to complex challenges across functions
·  Lean Sigma Kaizen event preparation and assist in facilitation and management of the event
·  Document the solutions identified in the Kaizen event and make any changes to the process flow documents
·  Develop action items, with owners and collect status periodically
·  Conduct Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping)
·  Be tasked with preparing innovative presentations on various topics for senior management

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in finance, business management, supply chain management, or related fields)
·  Minimum of 3 years of finance or lean  process implementation experience, supply chain management
·  Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience applying lean principles

·  Fluency in the English language
·  Broad thinker, with the ability to deep dive into details
·  Team player: ability to work effectively across functions
·  Lean or Six Sigma trained and experienced
·  Goal oriented, self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization
·  Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
