TTT - Automation - Advanced analyst

Job Summary:

 

GDS Tax Technology& Transformation ( TTT)  is a  function created under GDS Tax , the group provides  automation , analytics , BI ,devops services for various global client partner teams  who drives  solutions design , implementation and support  for external / GDS Tax clients.  The Product SME’s – would  responsible for product research ,architecture , design & implementation  automation products  and ensuring those solution standards are adopted in all automation engagements in firm.  GDS TTT Automation Services  is looking Product SME’s who can deliver the service as per requirements the below job description.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

 

·  Review functional and nonfunctional solution requirements for enabling various automation services and activities  which will be delivered from GDS Tax TTT
·  Create / review of solution artefacts of forvarious Automation products
·  Develop the standard product platforms for ready to production use for  service lines
·  Liaise with  other Solution leaders and SME’s to include dependencies of new product platforms
·  Handle  product lifecycle management activities – upgrades , changes etc..
·  Derive right product combinations for automation requirements.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

·  Understands the business requirements ,compares various Automation architectural options based on feasibility and impact and proposes actionable plans
·  Demonstrated strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving skills
·  Ability to analyze and operate at different levels of abstraction

        

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills(includes negotiation)
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and inwriting
·  Knowledge of organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team.
·  Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on service offerings

Detailed  Responsibilities:

·  Direct supervision provided by the Automation Services leader
·  No supervision of junior staff 

Other Requirements:

·  Vacation scheduling is dependent upon team priorities and may change during the course of a year.
·  Position may be eligible for alternative work locations dependent upon team dynamics.
·  Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal.
·  Position requires accurate and timely tracking of time spent working on projects, service offerings and products provided by IT .

Job Requirements:

Education:

·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience:

·  Extensive understanding of EY Service Lines and Core Business Services in order to operate effectively and deliver objectives within a matrix organization
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence appropriate outcome (in English)
·  Organizational skills and the ability to flex in a constantly changing environment
·  1 year  in an platform setup and implementation role  in areas like Robotics Process Automation ,OCR and next generation platforms
·  Strong foundation on hosting, storage, network, VMware, tools and application platforms
·  Experience Process automation knowledge and related solution deployment
·  Experience with Robotics Process automation technology -  Blue prism
