Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modeling.

Transaction Advisory Service - Valuation, Modeling & Economics - Senior Accountant

The opportunity

Equally important to our strategy, our Valuation Solutions and Decision Modeling & Economics practices are the means by which we continue to bring our deep financial, economics and analytics skills to bear in order to support our clients with better decision-making involving transactions, funding capital expansion and optimizing capital efficiency.

 
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities

Using sophisticated modeling and quantitative analysis techniques, we are committed to provide independent and objective valuation and modelling service to a range of private and public companies in various industries. By identifying critical value and risk drivers, and determining the linkages that affect performance, we help our clients assess and plan the efficient allocation of resources in organizations, improve alignment between management decision-making, resource allocation, executive compensation and enterprise performance.

We also assist clients, including but not limited to governments, industrial parks, developers, urban planners, to conduct a full range of advisory services: 1) strategic positioning, 2) industry planning and 3) economic and financial modelling and analysis, in order to develop or regenerate an area in a modern, systematic and feasible way.

Skills and attributes for success
· 
Lead team members to conduct equity research, industry research, management and expert interviews; analyze information obtained from various channels and prepare reports

·  Use data analytic skills in data triangulation and synthesis
· 
Develop and analyze complex financial models and perform financial analyses

· 
Work with management on parts of the acquisition process, regularly undertake valuation or other financial analysis for strategic priorities or fiscal purposes and gain insights into complex dispute cases 

· 
Work closely with clients, targets and other professionals in the financial due diligence, legal, tax and valuation fields

Requirements:
To qualify for the role you must have
· 
Bachelor or Master Degree with a minimum of [] years' relevant experience in the advisory or finance fields

·  Strong logic thinking and good sense of numbers
·  Research skills and communication skill
·  Excel knowledge and good report-writing skill
· 
Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects

·  Highly motivated and have a very strong attention to detail
·  Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Ideally, you’ll also have
· 
Transaction/ valuation experience 

· 
Client facing experience from a professional services background
