Are you going to write your master thesis during the spring of 2020? EY is inviting high performing students to write their Master’s Thesis in collaboration with our Supply Chain & Operations Advisory team focusing on procurement during the spring of 2020. 

The opportunity  
As thesis students, you will develop highly specialized competencies towards typical client issues. Several of our previous thesis students have stayed onboard and are now helping clients from EY offices around the world. 

Beyond a desk and a computer, we offer:

·  Access to relevant insights, methodologies and a large network of experts within different Procurement fields
·  An associated counsellor that will challenge your thinking and provide practical insights to your problems and solutions
·  A unique opportunity for writing a professional thesis in collaboration with EY 

Your key responsibilities 
We expect you to propose your own subject within procurement, but we are ready to challenge and develop your ideas to make it fit with our procurement team as well as the outlook, trends and opportunities within procurement. 

Suggested topic areas:

·  Procurement trends (e.g. Digital, Analytics, Big data, RPA, Process mining, Procurement reinvention, Blockchain)
·  Procurement operating model (e.g. Center of gravity)
·  Procurement strategy and governance
·  Performance management and reporting
·  Category management and strategic sourcing
·  Tactical and operational procurement (P2P)
·  Supplier relationship management
·  (Intelligent) Contract management
·  Other – come with your own suggestion on interesting procurement topics 

To qualify for the role you must have 
A relevant academic background - e.g. within Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Shipping or Economics, - and will be able to be at our office in Copenhagen minimum 1 day a week. 

Ideally, you’ll also have 
A proactive attitude, drive and courage to challenge the norm, along with a keen interest in a career as a management consultant.
