Program Mercury. It is a large, multi-year, enterprise-wide process transformation that will replace more than 1400 EY business systems and related processes with an integrated, SAP centric platform that will standardize and harmonize activities throughout the organization and significantly improve how EY manages its business. Program Mercury is a key enabler of EY’s Vision 2020+, directly supporting the efforts for number of transformation initiatives across the Firm by streamlining the application portfolio, reducing operating costs and providing a platform to deliver services more efficiently.  The Mercury solution is built upon the very latest of technologies (Portal, Mobile, SaaS) and a variety of hosting models (Cloud, Vendor and Internal).

What you are going to do

It is important that the MTT has a capable resource who can provide strong support as well as help improve the test processes and practices.  The Global Test Analyst be an important support position within the MTT.        

Project Management

· 
Create project plans, using MS Project, for the various testing activities  to capture the tasks, the owners and progress to completion

· 
Liaise with the various MTT members as well as members from the Global PMO, environment and development teams to obtain relevant inputs and updates for the project plans

· 
Synchronize the MTT project plans with the Global PMO project plan

· 
Report on tasks that are at risk as well as those that are late

 

Reporting and Metric

· 
Collate data and information from the MTT members and prepare the weekly scorecards and governance material

· 
Assist with the preparation and at times prepare presentations for Deep Dives, Kickoff sessions, Leadership and Oversight committees

· 
Prepare daily test dashboards that report the progress of test execution and defect management leveraging data in HP ALM, our test management tool

·  Create and produce other test metrics and reports
·  Update and maintain data in HP ALM
· 
Track and report on the progress in meeting entry and exit criteria for testing activities

 

Management of templates and team material

· 
Create, update and maintain templates, documents and process materials for the MTT

·  Maintain material for the Program SDA
· 
Organize and manage team documents within SharePoint and Teams

 

Security / Access

· 
Initiate requests for system access for various members on global teams

· 
Follow up with the security team on the status of system access requests

· 
Inform team members that when their access to systems has been provisioned

 

Test Management Support

· 
Assist with the planning and management of testing activities

· 
Coordinate with the various teams to ensure all testing tasks are identified and tracked appropriately

· 
Assist in preparing estimates for test execution based on the early identification of requirements

· 
Track and help drive the readiness assessment process for upcoming testing activities

· 
Prepare and update the entrance criteria checklist to ascertain whether the formal testing can commence

·  Assist with the execution of test cases
· 
Coordinate the creation of a test execution schedule for all test cases included in scope

· 
Attend relevant MTT meetings and assist with capturing and publishing action items

· 
Assist MTT members in preparing and updating the internal risk and issue register as well as submitting program RAIDD items

· 
Assist in the defect triage process by working closely with the defect manager(s) to track action items and follow-up

· 
Follow-up with team members and ensure that defects are retested

What we need from you

·  Good inquiry and investigative skills to ensure you question and validate conditions appropriately
·  Good communication and coordination skills as you will be working very closely with multiple teams

To qualify for the role you must have:
 
·  At least two years’ experience in an analyst or supporting role
·  Experience in developing and maintaining trackers and ideally project plans
·  Good knowledge of MS Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Ideally, you’ll also have :
 
·  Good inquiry and investigative skills to ensure you question and validate conditions appropriately
·  Good communication and coordination skills as you will be working very closely with multiple teams
