We advise our clients on how indirect taxes such as value-added tax (VAT) impinge on their transactions, costs and margins, financial and accounting systems. We identify and address areas of risk, inform clients of the taxation implications of international transactions and assist them in efficiently complying with the VAT regulations. Working in Indirect Tax, you gain broad experience of industries and jurisdictions and receive the support you need to become an effective tax professional.

 

 

In order to continue the expansion of our Indirect Tax services, we are currently looking to recruit as of September 2019:

 

Tax Assistant focused on Indirect Tax (m/f)

Your responsibilities :

 

• Research indirect tax legislation issued by both your country, the EU and others worldwide;

• Review clients accounting systems to ensure that indirect taxes are handled correctly;

• Review clients data and prepare VAT returns, including assisting clients in their day-to-day administrative VAT obligations;

 

• Work in a multidisciplinary team to map the flow of goods and services within the scope of setting-up structures;

• Work with colleagues from other parts of Tax to support your client in selling or purchasing another business;

• Map the processes and controls that clients use to manage their indirect tax risks.

 

 

Your profile:

 

• You hold a Master in Economics or Tax Law, specialization in Indirect Tax or Accounting would be an asset;

• You are fluent in English, German and/or French, additional language skills are an advantage;

• You display the ability to communicate effectively and act as a team player;

 

• You are organized, flexible and able to manage several files.
