As a Project Manager for the America’s Tax Strategic Initiatives Center of Excellence, you will work across enablement and business teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY Tax leaders deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability. To be successful, this role teams with all enablement functions including Markets, Experience Management, Finance, Technology, Talent, Brand Marketing and Communications, Knowledge and Risk Management.

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for a team and/or a portfolio of highly complex projects and programs. You'll plan and execute projects and/or programs, and work with leaders and sponsors, to align activity with key business priorities. To achieve this, you'll develop an in-depth knowledge of operations, process and technology. This will help you offer advice and resolve business problems (e.g., increasing cost-effectiveness, minimizing statutory risks, enhancing quality of services, designing/deploying new technologies and processes). In this role, you'll have responsibility for the budget and resources, and will manage your own portfolio of work and delegate tasks. You'll work with minimal guidance and prioritize deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of projects which includes managing deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, reporting results and manage sponsor/customer expectations.

- Develop relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, enablement), to work more closely together, and share knowledge and expertise.

- Cleary identify and communicate issues and status reports to leaders and/or stakeholders.

- Recommend potential solutions that reflect the voice of the customer and can be executed in the desired and attainable timeframe and budget.

- Integrate planning efforts across work groups, to gain appropriate sponsorship; establish responsibilities and deploy sufficient resources.

- Develop workplans with key milestones that are aligned with project goals and objectives. Implement these plans to meet goals within established budgets and timelines.

- Allocate resources to meet changing project/program needs.

- Develop procedures and coordinate activities within project/program team

- Apply your knowledge of process and technology, to carry out complex analyses and resolve problems. - Recommend new approaches to leaders and influence final decisions.

- Gain recognition as a go-to resource in project management practices and tools, at both the project and program level.

To qualify, candidates must have:

- Strong knowledge and experience with change management.

- Ability to assimilate into multiple teams simultaneously and manage others by influence - English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication.

- Ability to think strategically, and to consider a broad range of factors when resolving/prioritizing issues, and making decisions.

 - Good presentation skills, and an ability to assert ideas and influence others, to gain support and commitment.

- Strong cultural awareness, to work in global teams and groups.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) PowerBI and Visio.

- Competent at handling multiple demands and competing priorities.

- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience, with 1 or more years of management experience (projects and/or teams).

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

- PMP certificate and / or Agile Certified Scrum Master

- Lean Six Sigma green belt preferred and/or willingness to pursue certification
