EY GDS Risk Management Services team has been working on setting up a new service which is responsible for managing and executing various internal processes to ensure that the Firm and its professionals are in compliance with the auditor independence rules and regulations imposed by external regulatory bodies.

The opportunity


We are currently looking for an experienced Manager (Assistant Director) to start an exciting journey with a great potential for growth and become a part of Risk Management Services. Successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of a few sub-teams of Independence Service Line (up to 50 people), serving multiple customer groups & stakeholders across different EY geographies. You will report directly to Business & Location Lead of Risk Management Services and will lead a group of Supervising Associates / Team Leads from respective teams – If it all sounds familiar - this job is just perfect for you!

Your key responsibilities

As an Assistant Director you will be responsible for both managing stakeholders and operation (25 up to 50 people).

You will be responsible for overall service delivery including team’s productivity, efficiency & quality of service.

· 
As an Assistant Director your other responsibilities will include onboarding new customers, process transition, business transformation initiatives, setting up billing & work order processes, performance management and development of the team members.

· 
You will also assist RMS leadership in marketing of RMS services to existing and potential customer groups and defining organizational strategy.

· 
Assist in strategic planning by gathering & analyzing relevant business, service, and operational metrics like strategies for attrition and leaves control, increasing customer connect etc.

· 
Build up significant domain expertise on engagement support processes and other related independence processes and tools as well as develop solid understanding of EY & Regulator’s definitions of an audit client and restrictions around them.

· 
Manage the customer outreach process to build future pipeline.

· 
Responsible for addressing & resolving service delivery issues / escalations.

· 
Manage Supervising Associates and Team Leads from setting goals to assessing performance against goals to providing performance feedback.

· 
Being responsible for people development, budgeting and overall service delivery aspects.

· 
Coach and mentor team members for professional development, and recommends training requirements to address perceived gaps.

· 
Continuously look for new opportunities to add value to the existing process.

· 
Take a lead in various Process Improvement Projects and initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success:
·  You are fluent English speaker (minimum C1)
·  You should have minimum 8 to 10 years of professional experience working in a corporate organization preferably in risk management/audit/compliance area
· 
Must be able to work virtually, and independently

· 
Must have a strong Project Management skills and experience and be comfortable using IT database systems

·  Ability to take responsibility and action
·  Exceptional and proven customer service skills
· 
Highly developed verbal communication, business writing and presentation skills.

· 
A strong and highly-motivated work ethic, with ability to perform well even when under pressure; proven ability to successfully complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· 
Excellent team attitude, inter-personal and leadership skills; proven expertise in leading large teams.

What we look for

We are interested in hiring a professional who has at least 8 to 10 years of professional experience, out of which a minimum of 5 years should have been spent in:

· 
Compliance or research functions in professional service organizations

· 
Managing reasonably large teams

 

The role requires someone who can manage a number of concurrent activities, with strong multi-tasking, prioritization, organizational and time management skills
