The Opportunity

EY is looking for Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager - People Advisory Services with primary competency in Learning - System.

Instructional designers work with others to develop courses that can be studied on a computer network. This can be an internal network, or an external one offering courses to people in different places. We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. You would be responsible for identifying the skills, knowledge, information and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and creating or selecting learning experiences that close this gap, based on instructional theory and best practices from the field.

 

Key Responsibilities

The GDS WFA Learning Team is a dynamic group, constantly required to evolve with the needs of the business. The main responsibilities of the Learning Consultant include, but are not limited to:

· 
Responsible for creating advanced level and highly complex requirements around the educational technology needs of the Design Center

· 
Supporting the team to design and maintain best practices around learning technology

· 
Developing and delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of our learners

· 
Proficient Microsoft Office skills: particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

· 
Experience with technology project management 

· 
Experience writing requirements and creating or using online tools to capture and track requirements

· 
Ability to pitch creative ideas and concepts

· 
Use creative problem solving to develop impactful alternative solutions when needed

· 
Manage simultaneous projects and creative work, knowing when to prioritize requests

· 
Visualize complex ideas into engaging and impactful design solutions

· 
Knowledge of visual theory principles

· 
Awareness of current design trends and a strong eye for design and layouts

· 
Knowledge of e-learning standards like SCORM, AICC, TinCan API

· 
Experience working with industry standard Learning Management systems like Saba, SumTotal, Cornerstone

· 
Experience developing e-learning using industry standard tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Lectora.

· 
Experience with multimedia tools like Vyond, VideoScribe, Camtasia, and other audio/video editing tools

Knowledge / Significant exposure in below areas

·  Been involved in end to end training / learning implementation for projects
·  Hands on experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Microsoft, Odoo, Netsuite ERP)
·  Strong organizational and time management skills across time zones with strong attention to detail, including ability to multi-task and adapt to last minute changes and needs
·  Good project management skills, and ability to manage tasks from multiple team members across the globe and in parallel
·  Strong customer focus; responsive to queries in a consistent manner and with a sense of urgency
·  Highest level of integrity expected, treating all HR-related information as confidential
·  Ownership of own work and proactive in driving new ideas
·  Effective collaboration in a virtual environment, while at the same time demonstrating ownership and drive, is essential
·  Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with EY’s values and culture.
·  Solves non-routine problems by choosing and developing alternatives
·  Seeks occasional guidance to complete assigned tasks

To qualify for the role, you must have

·  3-10 years of experience in learning needs analysis, curriculum design, instructional design, training strategy, content development and project management particularly in a professional services firm / consulting firm / online education companies / specialized research houses, technology magazines or research divisions of publishing houses
·  Bachelor's degree programs in journalism, English and other mass communication disciplines with technology background
·  Diploma in Instructional Design is preferred
·  Experience in development of online courses and CBTs
·  Experience of working within a dynamic environment.
·  Consulting experience is preferred
