Job description

Job purpose

·  The primary role of a Tax Analyst is to analyse information to prepare accurate income tax returns and develop a collaborative relationship with EY colleagues.

 

Client responsibilities

·  Demonstrate an understating of basic tax concepts. Proactively expand tax knowledge through client assignments and stay current with tax developments
·  Deliver high quality and timely work
·  Prepare international assignment related calculations such as tax cost projections, tax equalization calculations, hypothetical tax calculations, etc.
·  Research tax theory / tax laws and positions, and apply them to specific client needs
·  Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
·  Develop client service, engagement and financial management skills
·  Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested
·  Exercise independent judgment and discretion when preparing tax returns
