The Office Services Clerk, Distribution Services is responsible for the daily sorting and distribution of all mail services functions and operations including auxiliary mail functions within an EY office and or surrounding area. 

Your key responsibilities

· 

Processes mail utilizing pre-determined guidelines for most cost-effective method for mailing/delivering documents and affixes proper postage.

· 
Delivers and picks up mail for on-site personnel and arranges delivery to off-site personnel.

· 
Receives, logs and sorts mail/packages appropriately with special attention to time sensitive mail/materials.

· 
Monitors stationery levels and places orders with stationery coordinator to maintain stocking of supplies.

· 
Assists with the preparation, stuffing and metering of envelopes for large distributions (internal/external), for example, EOY, and special events.

· 
Processes local and overnight/express deliveries and couriers by preparing shipping labels and tracking documents.

· 
Will assist in the performance of other Central Service duties when required due to workflow / staffing needs.

 

Skills and attributes for success

· 
Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment

· 
Strong interpersonal skills including oral and written communication, active listening, team spirit

· 
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

· 
General knowledge of mail centre procedures and/or knowledge of couriers an asset

· 
Basic knowledge of MS Office Products, Outlook, and Internet

To qualify for the role you must have

· 
1 to 2 years experience in a similar role

· 
High School Diploma
