We are looking for an energetic individual who has a passion for learning and an eye for detail, to join our EY Canada Talent Development and Learning Team as a learning deployment coordinator working primarily with the Advisory service line.

 

The Learning Deployment Coordinator (LDC) assists with the coordination and logistics of service line and local classes and supports the Learning Management System activities, including submitting courses / classes, managing rosters, drafting and distributing learner communications, and facilitating course / class evaluations. This role works with the service line learning teams and course sponsors to provide agreed-upon support for all classes and also works closely with the Learning Deployment Specialists (LDS).

 

This position may require overtime during peak times and to set up and clean up after courses, or where we have receptions and the LDC is needed to stay and assist.

Your Key Responsibilities

Learner Administration

·  Assist with identifying target learners and forecasting the number of classes, participants, facility location, timing, session counts, and general course planning
·  Respond to learner non-subject matter questions (e.g., class location)
·  Responsible for keeping class rosters, tracking sheets, calendars and the SharePoint site updated

 

  Instructor support

·  Meet instructors at start of class and be accessible to instructor for troubleshooting and support
·  Maintain Instructor database / tracking sheet
·  Prepare and distribute instructor “thank you’s”, per each service line’s program

 

Learning Management System

·  Course and class submission including attendance tracking
·  Support and train other staff as required
·  Continuing Education (CE) compliance
·  Submit courses and classes in Learning Management System
·  Generate potential participant lists
·  Update and manage rosters, manage waitlists, cancellations etc.

 

Evaluations

·  Create and manage distribution and collection of class evaluations
·  Review evaluation summary reports and distribute to content team and course sponsor

 

Course logistics

·  Request and confirm facilities, catering and technology needs
·  Provide allon-site and off-site classroom support (e.g.deliver, unpack, and distribute class materials, meet instructors and participants etc.)
·  Provide sign-in sheet, collect, verify completeness and submit copy to Learning Management System
·  Manage registration for major events via registration database and provide reports to stakeholders
·  Liaise with Strategic Sourcing and Meeting Room Bookings
·  Order course materials for distribution, prepare nametags
·  Work with our off-shore Learning Administration team to prepare and send participant communications (e.g. invitations, travel emails etc.)

  Budget and Invoicing

·  Gather / compile preliminary information for budgets and review with Learning Leader
·  Review and process invoices
·  Advise Learning Leader if any accruals are needed

To qualify for the role you must have

·  Education and interest in learning and development
·  Proficient in Excel (filters, vlookups, pivot tables), Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
·  Willingness to work in a team environment
·  Ability to manage multiple priorities independently during peak times
·  Ability to take initiative and think through next steps / prioritize items to complete
