Introduction to the Restructuring Team:
The financial restructuring team (the “Restructuring Team”) covers 31 countries across Central & Southeast Europe and CIS (the “CESA” region). The Restructuring Team provides comprehensive investment banking, solution-oriented financial advisory services for large- and medium-sized international borrowers and creditors in situations where the capital structure of the borrower is becoming or has become unsustainable. This team is looking for new junior members to work together on these interesting mandates.

Description of the Role:
As a junior member of our team, you will support and directly report to the Head of Restructuring for CESA and his core team based in London and Prague from whom you can expect high quality on-the-job training. The role is set in a fun and fast-paced environment giving you an international exposure to an intellectually challenging area of corporate finance, where you will learn the full scope of corporate finance tools, from debt to equity investments, from financial modelling to debt structure and stakeholder analyses and much more. Further, you will be required to monitor the market and perform research as needed to prepare proposals for potential clients, including ensuring the necessary standards for quality are achieved. Additionally, you would be required to support the Head of Restructuring for CESA in his role as a leader within a global firm, including marketing, budgeting and networking activities.

We are Looking For:
► University degree (preferably in finance or accounting)
► 0-2 years of corporate finance experience from a corporate finance advisory firm, top tier accounting firm, bank or management consulting firm
► Good MS Excel skills and MS PowerPoint presentation preparations
► Able to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions

► Enjoy and work effectively and efficiently as a member of an international, multi-cultural team
► Develop and maintain strong relationships with other EY teams, clients’ teams and others
► Have stamina and commitment comparable to the highest standards as required in a top-tier financial advisory environment
► Flexibility and ability to deliver under pressure on assignments with tight deadlines
► Display strong communication and presentation skills
