Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

The Identity & Access Management Services function under Info Sec, designs,operates and maintains EY's Identify Access Management (IAM) technology platforms across our global network.  It enables reliable and end-user centric IAM services supporting internal and external secure access to existing, new, and emerging technologies.

The opportunity

The world of business is undergoing a significant change with the next Digital Revolution; the move to the cloud. The Secure Access Engineering team delivers access management solutions utilizing public cloud platforms, commercial off the shelf products, and custom developed solutions. In your role as Cloud Federation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on delivering complex global secure access solutions for a huge global firm and providing best in class support for our clients primarily using the Microsoft Azure platform and any other cloud solution we adopt. As cloud federation expert, your focus will be on implementing Azure cloud federation and access management solution using Azure services and features like Azure Active Directory, B2C, B2B, Conditional Access, and Inbound / Outbound federation setup with Active Directory Federation services and other federation solutions.

Your key responsibilities

As Secure Access Cloud Federation Engineer, you are expected to be an expert and continue developing strong expertise in Microsoft Azure platform specially in the IAM related services and offerings at a technical level and help EY teams build deeply integrated solutions. You will be required to have technical knowledge of security best practices across a variety of cloud federation use cases and architecture. You will pay keen attention to detail and apply best practices to integrate innovative technology to deliver secure solutions that meet business requirements and are operationally supportable by IAM service partner teams. You will be performing light development activities using a variety of computer programming languages such as Power Shell, JavaScript(JS), Python, and expected to have exposer and understanding of JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML, REST/WEB API. You will be providing engineering support for troubleshooting access related incidents and are expected to be familiar with tools like fiddler, and WireShark.

Strong demonstrable knowledge of Azure cloud and IAM services and functions including working of SAML/OIDC federation flow

Strong analytical and problem solving skill

Excellent attention to detail and good at technical documentation

Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

· 
Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure

· 
Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and work with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams

· 
Ability to work and team effectively with clients and others within IAM team and across Info Sec to deliver solutions

To qualify for the role you must have

· 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

· 
Approximately 5 to 8 years of experience in Web Access Management domain

· 
Approximately 3 years of hands on experience on Azure cloud

· 
Strong understanding of the Web access management - Single Sign-On / federation concept

· 
Experience writing script / program using any of the programming languages; preferably PowerShell, Java, Python.

Ideally, you’ll also have

· 
Azure certification

· 
Experience in using Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process improvement frameworks

· 
Exposure to more than one web access management tools like ADFS, Ping, etc.

· 
Exposure to more than one public cloud platform such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, etc.
