IAM Identity Analytics Specialist

 

Under minimal supervision within Identity and Access Management (IAM) the Identity Analytics Specialist creates the analytics for the complex technical aspects of global IAM data and services. The role provides analytics that review the proper adherence to compliance and specified business mandates governing individual end user access such as Segregation of Duties and other controls policies throughout the lifecycle of their access to EY’s technology. The role reviews Information Technology (IT) activities such as end user access to a particular system and reports on adherence to specific policies by Human Resources (HR), Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM), General Counsel Office (GCO) and Information Security policies within IAM’s products and tools.  The role ascertains that the established definition, development and support of identity provisioning scripts, reports and reconciliation processes required for secure, consistent and accurate identity data management are reflected in the analytics and reporting that is generated by the group.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

The opportunity

The role requires the basic analytical acumen and solution orientation to effectively provide IAM analytics for a geographic region(s) and to identify as appropriate, a global solution or enhancement to such reporting and related audit activities. The role has a solid understanding of the technical IAM process, the business objectives of service lines and Core Business Services departments as well as the global policies that are currently in effect within IAM. The role is knowledgeable of the latest trends in technology risk assessment, information security, procedures, methodologies, and best practices to understand the need and create reporting solutions that will properly monitor access and directives. The role’s assessment and validation of IAM data management requirements, policies, procedures and support models are given in a manner that are reflect of the role’s fundamental process analytics remit. The role can Identify, provide clarify, and propose solutions to security gaps and problems that require a specific knowledge based on a particular application or system or are directed by management in such activities.

Your key responsibilities

·  Mentor and help train support staff
·  Lead activities and initiatives related to Identity and Access Management

Foster inclusiveness and participation from all team members

· 
Create and execute ad hoc or reusable agents, scripts and reports developed using various EY and third party technologies.

· 
Act as an escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries

· 
Apply analytical and problem solving abilities to review complex and conflicting IAM issues

· 
Complete root cause analysis to identify, confirm and address recurring incidents/problems

· 
Recommend and implement solutions based on customer requests and leadership direction

· 
Maintain a strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft Identity Manager technologies related to user or group provisioning and identity life cycle management.

· 
Leverage understanding of core business service lines and operating environment within EY to provide advanced level analyses, support reporting needs or to identify IAM improvement opportunities in areas such as automation or inconsistent global policies

Skills and attributes for success

·  Familiarity with large IT infrastructures, organization operations,management tools and methodology to support standardization, automation or consolidation of identity data
·  Strong interpersonal, communication, consultative, and people management skills
·  Demonstrated ability to prioritize and succeed on multiple assignments simultaneously, in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment
·  PowerShell scripting and/or data analytics experience
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, particularly with Macros and VBScript
·  Fluent in spoken and written English 

To qualify for the role you must have

·  Approximately 5 to 7 years of security administration experience in support of IT products or security administration
·  At least 2 years prior experience in support of user identities
·  College degree (desired: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience)
·  Certifications: ITIL 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Ability to effectively work with customers and management personnel on all levels, business areas and across cultures.
·  Knowledge of latest trends in technology risk assessment, information security, procedures, methodologies, and best practices.
·  High level of process and procedure expertise and support for risk assessments.
