The BMC function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s Vision 2020 ambition to become the leading global professional services organization. BMC is led globally by Karen Hopkins. The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications &Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.

BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.

The opportunity  

This role requires an experienced, energetic and resilient team player with an excellent understanding of what it takes to deliver marketing programs in a complex environment and working with Alliance partners. Working closely in an agile team, the successful candidate will be required to build relationships and collaborate closely within the BMC team, subject matter experts and relevant client-serving professionals. The role will lead the Global EY SAP Alliance BMC strategic objectives, plan, tactics and developing the execution. Driving dedicated and integrated lead generation campaigns (building brand and driving commercial value) are an important part of the task as well as building internal engagement and pride on our services and way of working.

In addition, providing direction, guidance and advice at varying levels to the area and regional BMC teams responsible for execution at a local level. The role is accountable for establishing and demonstrating alignment between global and local as well as cross Service Line, Industry, priority GTM (go-to-market) campaign teams and other alliance-based programs to create synergies and make sure that the whole of EY is brought to market through an integrated strategy.

This role will work closely with the Global Alliances and Ecosystems leader (Greg Sarafin), Global EY SAP exec sponsor (Hanne Jesca Bax), Global EY SAP GTM Alliance leader (Tim Fuller) and Director (Justine Zang), Innovation Lead (Axel Janz) and EY SAP Alliance area leaders (Michael Yadgar, Tom Velema, Hanne Jesca Bax, Chris Gant and Catherine McCourt) and their Alliance BD teams in developing a strong Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) strategy that supports the organization’s ambition of being number one or two in market share in our chosen markets and supports driving commercial value through our BMC programs.

Success in this role will be the delivery of joint marketing programs that integrate brand, GTM and drive engagement, through a sector lens and will show supporting the business in driving growth. Success will be measured through EY’s global brand survey and through pipeline/revenue and lead generation metrics.

Your key responsibilities

· 
Creation and execution of the Global EY SAP Alliance BMC strategy and plan in alignment with the Advisory and Alliances global business plans and growth priorities

· 
Providing strategic marketing advice to the Global Advisory, Global EY SAP and Global Markets leadership team

· 
Establishing relationships and close collaboration with Global SAP Marketing (external)

· 
Working to integrate across all of BMC including industry, service lines, regions and other BMC programs to ensure successful delivery and high impact in the market

· 
Responsibility for Global EY SAP Alliance campaigns and programs: key events to be managed from planning to execution:

· 
SAP FKOM, 5 various area events, Jan 2020 – support from area BMC

· 
SAP SAPPHIRE NOW, May 11-15, 2020 – support from various BMC teams

· 
Supporting role on area led, solution focused events.

· 
Connections with key Global Advisory BMC experts in brand, content strategy, analyst relations and public relations and the digital and social media teams to ensure programs are leveraged effectively.

To qualify for the role you must have

· 
Previous Alliance marketing experience

· 
Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level

· 
Experienced in B2B marketing, with substantial experience in professional services 

· 
Good understanding of the EY business, key stakeholders and influencers

· 
Experience managing diverse teams

· 
Outstanding communication abilities and experience

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

· 
Availability for global travel

· 
High level of influencing and networking skills

· 
Experience with the use of a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to targeted buyers
