TheBrand, Marketing & Communications ( BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s Vision 2020 ambition to become the leading global professional services organization. BMC is led globally by Karen Hopkins. The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; Corporate Communications.

BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. The opportunity   

The Global Innovation CE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and communicating the Global Innovation team’s strategy and initiatives to enhance and demonstrate the innovation culture at EY.

The Manager will develop a creative communications plan to promote innovation at EY, gather information on the various innovation initiatives from both the Global Innovation team and the EY innovation community, as well as facilitate communications and knowledge sharing from the Global Innovation team to the broader EY organization.

Success in this role will include the execution of a comprehensive communications program for innovation at EY that delivers sustainable, measurable results, as well as an effective integration of innovation messaging into existing communications programs.

Your key responsibilities

The key responsibilities in this role include:

· 
Support the Global Chief Innovation Officer’s remit and the Global Innovation BMC leader in developing an EY innovation engagement and awareness strategy and execute on the strategy

· 
Develop creative communications initiatives to promote innovation at EY, including AI and Blockchain

· 
Establish relationships and collaborate with various service line, Area/Regional, sector and other contacts as applicable to understand innovation initiatives and programs taking place across the organization

· 
Facilitate/create communications from the Global Innovation team to the broader EY organization, including events, newsletters (e.g., Daily News), social media, webcasts, presentations, SharePoint site, videos, etc., in line with the innovation strategy

· 
Work with the Global Innovation BMC Team and others in order to gather information, analyze and develop informed recommendations to advise on prioritization or actions

· 
Deliver engaging, relevant and timely content for our people, with particular emphasis on creating digital content

· 
Align and integrate innovation messages with other strategic communications, utilizing the most relevant channels

 

Skills and attributes for success

Good understanding of the EY business and services, including understanding of financial performance metrics and value drivers, EY’s global strategy and the competitive dynamics in the industry.

Demonstrate creative and independent thinking to develop strategy and execute next steps, including leveraging resources and tools effectively to drive participation, with continuing enhancements

Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills – able to effectively manage and influence senior Managers, as well as a broad range of internal and client-facing professionals

To qualify for the role you must have

· 
A track record of developing creative and credible ideas for content

· 
Strong understanding of innovation concepts and disruptors and prepared to keep up with latest developments, including the environmental factors that may impact EY and its markets, particularly in the area of technology and regulation

· 
Strong writing skills and the ability to understand and simplify complex ideas quickly.

Strong personal communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
