The opportunity
 
We are currently seeking highly motivated people to join our Advisory practice, which is a leading provider of services to the banking sector. Being part of our Financial Services Risk Management team you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and contribute to the growth of our team. Working in this creative environment, you will be given the opportunity to take responsibility and work on challenging projects for major clients in Greece as well as major financial institutions abroad. You will acquire knowledge and experience across a wide range of domains, including risk management across risk types (credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk etc.), quantitative methods and risk modeling, financial planning & stress testing, banking regulation, and financial/regulatory reporting, and you will help clients address interesting, complex and important challenges.

To qualify for the role you must have:

·  Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a Bachelor and a Master degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, or other related field. Ph.D. and professional qualifications (e.g. PRM, CFA etc.) will be considered an asset.
·  Skills in quantitative methods of finance, econometrics and/or statistics. Experience with statistical packages (e.g. R, Python, SAS, SPSS), valuation platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, FinCAD or SuperDerivatives) or with SQL will be considered an asset.
·  Knowledge of one or more of the following will be considered an asset:
·  Banking products (loans, credit facilities, deposits etc.) and/or investment products (stocks, bonds, derivatives etc.) and the key risks associated with these.
·  Risk management practices across the risk management lifecycle, in particular with respect to major risk types such as Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
·  Risk metrics/measures, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and stress testing.
·  Risk quantification models for market risk (e.g. Value-at-Risk, Expected Shortfall) and/or models for key credit risk modeling parameters (e.g. PD, LGD and EAD).
·  Financial analysis, key performance indicators, and financial accounting.
·  Regulatory requirements in the banking industry (e.g. Basel requirements for capital and liquidity, BRRD requirements etc.)
·  Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences.
·  Fluent English is a pre-requisite. Knowledge of additional languages will be appreciated.
·  Ability to work under tight timelines.
·  Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects.
