This job involves operational support of the global System Center Configuration Manager 2012 (SCCM) and JamfPro environments. Responsibilities may include either infrastructure or administrative support of the SCCM/JamfPro environment. 

 

What are you going to do?

 

· 
Monitors the environment and takes corrective action when issues are found.

· 
Ensure that the system functions fully and effectively, enabling software to be distributed and inventory collected and processed, while ensuring a positive customer experience and without negatively impacting the network.

· 
Acts as third tier escalation point on client issues, and performs research to resolve them.

· 
Monitors customer compliance to ensure that the product is fully deployed and functioning.

· 
Performs system administration, including the creation of collections, advertisements and basic reporting.

· 
Gathers system / client metrics for analysis.

· 
Works at the direction of the team or project leader to deliver updates and enhancements to the backend and the client.

· 
Participates in and sometimes helps lead projects.

· 
Assists team leaders in enforcing strategic product direction.

· 
Provides technical guidance to local subject matter teams.

· 
Develops and documents (i.e., technical specs, user documentation, flow diagrams, logic diagrams, etc) basic processes and procedures for support of the product.

· 
Performs or assists in testing of product updates prior to deployment into production.

· 
Provides content input to update end user documentation and training materials.

· 
Ability to identify potential points of failure, areas for improvement, and identifying pain points and bottlenecks.

· 
Makes recommendations to the team lead in regards to process changes and drives implementation, based on the needs of the business and product direction.

· 
Leads the team to classify and prioritize issues related to the product.

· 
Provides recommendations and analytical expertise on enhancement requests raised by Engineering, and challenges these requests if necessary.

· 
Proven ability to coordinate resolution of issues on a subarea / area / global basis.

· 
Capable of managing small to midsize projects and leading sub-teams on large projects.

· 
Proven ability to coordinate resources to complete complex assignments.

· 
Ability to effectively communicate with other groups in IT Services, business practice representatives and outside vendors.

· 
Enforces strategic product/policy direction set by management

What do we need from you?

 

· 
Windows Desktop OS including Windows 7 / 10

· 
Significant experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 administration.

· 
Windows 2008/2016 Server (Setup, Configuration, Troubleshooting)

· 
Networking - TCP/IP (Configuration of Client, Client Troubleshooting)

· 
Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint/Outlook/S4B

· 
Extensive experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (or SCCM) administration. 

· 
Includes architecture and engineering of CM environments.

· 
Includes extensive knowledge of “Cloud Distribution Points” and “Cloud Management Gateways”

· 
Knowledge of “Intune” and other “Modern Management” technologies (such as Co-Management, Windows Update for Business, Delivery Optimization, Azure AD, etc)

· 
Knowledge of JamfPro solution to support Mac

· 
SQL Server Administration

· 
Basic programming/scripting skills

· 
Strong interpersonal, client service, communication, and organizations and project management skills.

· 
Ability to work under pressure and react appropriately in a crisis situation.

· 
Sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, work flow processes and procedures in order to resolve most inquiries independently.

· 
The ability to effectively work and team with clients, management and staff members.

· 
The ability to fully document processes and fixes.

· 
The ability to create and deliver presentations as necessary.

· 
Proficient in Remedy Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

· 
Extensive knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills of the applications comprising the Global Core Loadset.

· 
The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

· 
Solid research and analytical skills.

· 
Ability to construct professional quality documentation.

· 
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

· 
Approximately 4-8 years of desktop management experience.

· 
Technical certifications are not required but will be considered a plus, especially if it’s closely related to the technologies referred to above.

 

 

Shift: Monday to Friday from 1 to 10PM
