The opportunity
EY Finland provides an exciting opportunity to spearhead the data agenda across our clientele. As a Data & Analytics consultant you will be defining the data-driven business landscape of tomorrow – and making it a reality. From data strategy development, to use case discovery, to data management and modelling, to deployment and operationalization, you will have a front-row seat to the end-to-end spectrum of data exploitation. 

Your key responsibilities
Day to day activities in this role will consist of client work on data-focused projects, supporting our customers in understanding the potential of their data assets and evangelizing data & analytics across EY. We also expect you to actively look for creative ways to integrate data & analytics capabilities into existing EY service offerings.

Skills and attributes for success
- Strong capabilities in translating business problems to data science problems
- Strong capabilities in data preparation 
- Strong capabilities and practical experience in deploying machine learning solutions to production
- Understanding of reinforcement learning
- Understanding of deep learning
- Understanding of modern data architectures (cloud vs on-prem, containers, API management)

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Relevant technical or business education (computer science, mathematics, physics, business)

Ideally, you’ll also have
- Work experience in a data driven environment
- Work experience in a data driven environment
- Moderate capabilities in data ingestion (data pipelines, ETL)
- Moderate capabilities in Data storage (SQL, NoSQL, relational databases, Hadoop) 
- Strong capabilities in and theoretical understanding of machine learning (unsupervised, supervised)
