The opportunity:

This role works closely with the Senior Analyst and the Assurance Markets team to support EMEIA FSO Assurance leadership and other senior stakeholders, providing thought-provoking content to help leadership make strategic decisions and to help EY differentiate itself in the marketplace.

The person will help support the business’ go-to-market strategy and will present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. They will also be expected to support complex, global projects for senior stakeholders in the organization, help form conclusions, and provide insightful commentary on various market events.

Your key responsibilities and requirements:


· 
Provide analysis that delivers insights to EMEIA FSO Assurance leadership – projects could cover areas like market share forecasting; audit fee benchmarking; market sizing and competitive analysis for EMEIA FSO Assurance strategic offerings; writing thought leadership on future of audit. Emphasis on the Core Markets

· 
Supports development and co-creation of insights beyond publicly available information by interacting with the senior analyst and leadership to help leadership make strategic decisions and to help EY differentiate itself in the market.

· 
Supporting key proposals with data points, data quality assurance and analysis around market share and audit fee benchmarking

· 
May participate in meetings, roundtables and other events to support EMEIA FSO Assurance leadership and strengthen EY’s presence and reputation in the market.

· 
Planning and execution: Develops project plans and manages projects, including objectives, timelines, milestones, priorities, team member responsibilities and work products.

· 
Monitoring: Monitors progress and regularly updates stakeholders on potential overruns and changes; re-negotiates timelines, scopes changes and budgets if necessary.

· 
Collaborating: Develops project work products collaboratively with team members that focus on measurable business impact.

· 
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including financial analysis skills. Should have experience in analyzing data sets, writing up insights and findings, presenting findings to senior leadership, visualizing data in an impactful way.

· 
Comfortable presenting to audiences and interfacing with stakeholders and internal customers at different levels of seniority. Should have an ability to visualize information/analysis in a user friendly and insightful manner. Experience in writing thought leadership reports/white papers.

· 
Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with a degree of autonomy; adept at working on a number of projects simultaneously

· 
Strategic and commercial mindsight

· 
Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of analytics and data visualization tools like Alteryx, SQL, R, Tableau and Power BI will be an advantage

· 
Passionate about research and analysis, and its practical application in the corporate environment

·  Proficient in English, both written and verbal
