The BMC Ops function at GDS Argentina covers a wide scope that ranges from supporting the location in its communications needs,helping develop communication plans and strategies, supporting engagement of our people, building employer brand externally, fostering GDS culture awareness and organizing SL’s and location’s events, among others.This role has a unique reporting line to the GDS Argentina BMC Leader.

Essential Functions of the Job:

 
·  Support the BMC Ops function with all design requirements for internal and external communications: ecards, emailers, newsletter, flyers, posters, banners, web design, branding, video presentations and edition, image retouch, etc.
·  Help develop BMC local strategy bringing insights and ideas;
·  Help with everyday recurrent emailers and standard communications;
·  Maintain the GDS Argentina Yammer wall active and engaging, acting as Community Manager;
·  Help, from a branding perspective, to build and maintain the GDS Argentina Sharepoint site;
·  Lead projects related to office spaces re-branding, designing pieces and coordinating with vendors; 
·  Be up-to-date with EY global BMC branding guidelines in order to deliver brand-compliant designs, not only visual but also written;
·  Collaborate with events organized by BMC not only internal but also out of office premises such as outings, parties, volunteering, etc.;
·  Actively participate in conference calls and Teams meetings with other GDS locations BMC SPOC´s and BMC GDS Leader;
·  Collaborate with the communications and organization of some employee-engagement activities;
·  Comply with all learning requirements and CE credits as well as RM and general policies.

 
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

·  Propose new ideas and change of processes in order to make of BMC a better fit for internal clients
·  Collaborate with best practice research
·  Actively participate in local BMC initiatives
·  Pull metrics to better track communications impact

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Graphic design, web design, manage the Adobe Creative Suite expertise, particularly in Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design and After Effects or Premiere. Sharepoint Designer is desirable, Microsoft Office expertise, particularly in Word and Powerpoint;
·  Ability to establish empathy and good relationships with staff, leadership and internal clients;
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
·  Highly team–oriented, flexible approach;
·  Ability to prioritize conflicting demands to meet specific deadlines;
·  Excellent verbal and written communications;
·  Excellent interpersonal skills;
·  A commitment and ability to work under pressure at peak times;
·  Good attitude and disposition, willing to help and collaborate for a common goal.

Supervision Responsibilities:

·  The role has one direct report to the local BMC Leader
·  Role holder is expected to manage responsibilities with limited day to day supervision, however constant support and counseling will be available via local BMC Leader.
·  This role has the benefit of two home office days per week in which role holder is expected to be online and available from 9 to 18h as if he/she were at the office.

Other Requirements:
·  This role will not require travelling overseas.
·  This role might require Conference Calls outside regular working hours.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

·  Graduated in Communications, Marketing, Graphic design, or similar
·  Fluent in English - both verbal and written.
