Job Description and Missions

To support efficiently our Water business that include planning, design, engineering and construction support in a variety of engineering activities in Water infrastructures (such as Large & Small Hydroelectric Schemes, Dams and Reservoirs, Water Transfer, Supply & Treatment, and River Hydraulics), we are looking for a:

Water Resources Engineer

Under the responsibility of the Vice President in charge of Water, you will be fully responsible for delivering Hydro related consulting & engineering projects, with the support of a team, with the highest standards of quality and safety. In that framework, your main responsibilities are:

• Conduct hydrologic, hydraulic and sediment transport analysis and performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned and under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Perform water quantity modeling and flood risk management for levees and dams
• Develop or prepare descriptive charts, figures/maps, and tables/matrices
• Perform writing assignments to contribute to project documentation such as memos and reports
• Support design analysis through application of quantitative and qualitative evaluation
• techniques
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (cost estimators, GIS, designers, and other engineers).

You have/are:

• Master of Sciences degree in Civil Engineering or Hydraulics or Water Resources or equivalent and at least a first of professional experience in Water Engineering (water resources, water supply, water transfer and piping, hydropower, dams, irrigation …)
• You have a practical skills and knowledge in the fields of river engineering and river basin development, the major hydraulic methodologies and applications for the design of (large) river structures and river modelling techniques with regard to data collection, processing and analysis
• Able to use Autocad, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), and ArcGIS or other open source GIS
• Team player, results-focused, determined and responsible.
• Dynamic, proactive and autonomous, manage to create quickly good relationships in a new environment and recognized and a good communicator
• Good command of Thai and English is a must
