The department

Laborelec's Chemistry product line brings together a range of activities focused on the optimization of industrial processes.

The areas covered are:

·  Chemistry, biology and water treatment
·  Combustion and emissions

We offer operational expertise to both power generators and industries to anticipate and solve technical problems they can meet. Through our research programs, we improve the operational excellence of our clients and prepare them for future challenges.

Although often overlooked, the importance of water treatment is critical to the proper functioning and sustainability of power generation facilities. In production, the essential aspects relating to water are the following:

·  Pretreatment and preparation of demineralized water
·  Conditioning of the water-steam cycle
·  Chemical monitoring
·  Conditioning of cooling water
·  Chemical cleaning of boilers and heat exchangers
·  Liquid effluent treatment
·  Water desalinization

Your mission

As Water Chemistry Technical Sales Engineer based in Belgium, you will actively participate in service and research activities for optimizing the use of water in power plants and industry. You will be required to intervene on industrial sites in Belgium and abroad. You also actively participate in the technical sales activities

·  You have a chemistry engineering degree or an equivalent experience
·  You have at least 5 years of experience in different domains like water treatment projects like water steam cycle, demineralization, and cooling water.
·  You have experience in technical sales
·  You are customer oriented, you are creative and able to solve complex problems by providing innovative and high value-added solutions. You communicate effectively about the solutions you have developed.
·  You have good communication skills
·  You are organized, a team player, with a capable of working on your own
·  You are fluent in English and French or Dutch, with a willingness to improve.
·  You are available to travel worldwide on short term missions (1 to 2 weeks).
