Engie are recruiting for a Waste Handler to be based at Amcor Evesham WR112XL. This is a permanent, full-time role working 36 hours per week, 12 hours per night. On offer is a salary of £15,369 per annum

General Overview:


The Waste handler operative will be given full on-site induction training prior to commencing of work. The ENGIE team will be responsible for Emptying waste bins and recycle the film and place it in the correct baler. This role reports into the FM Supervisor
.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:


·  Keep the factory clear of production waste.
·  Daily checks of all balers.
·  Bailer room housekeeping sheet to be completed prior to starting each shift.
·  Ensure all Production Hall bins are emptied into relevant on-site skip.
·  Provide cover as necessary.
·  Help in sweeping the factory floor when needed
·  Ensure that yard cleaning equipment and designated storage areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
·  Carry out the duties of the Waste Operatives team in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, Company and recommended guidelines.
·  Undertake training as necessary to maintain the requirements of the service.
·  Any other task given by the site lead that is deemed reasonable

Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  Experience waste removal (nice to have but not essential)
·  The use of external cleaning equipment
·  Have an understanding of basic health and safety principles
·  Able to work as a team to meet work schedules
·  Good communication and customer care skills
·  Capable of working with minimum supervision
·  Awareness of risk assessments and working safely with equipment
