With breath-taking views of London, the world's longest and tallest tunnel slide and the UK's highest freefall abseil, the ArcelorMittal Orbit is a viewing experience like no other. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in attraction management as a Visitor Experience Host. This is a part time role working 15.5 hours across Saturdays and Sundays every week.

The Visitor Experience Department is responsible for all aspects of the attraction, from the Ticket Office to the Viewing Platforms, the Gift Shop, and of course The Slide. Working closely with the Visitor Experience Manager, you will be responsible for providing world class customer service ensuring that every visitor has the best possible experience.

Your daily role will involve some of the following:

· 
Provide information and background on the view and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, encouraging interaction with the exhibits, installations

· 
Assist in the managing of queues and admissions areas

· 
Taking responsibility for the security of the exhibits, visitors, interactives,

· 
Work in the Ticket Office, advising visitors on ticket purchase and handling cash payments

· 
Work in the retail outlet(s), welcoming and advising visitors on products

· 
Work on the Slide entrance and exit, ensuring visitors follow the correct operating procedures before and after they experience the Slide

· 
Deliver safety briefings to each visitor before they experience the Slide

· 
Loading and off-loading of visitors in a safe and timely, and orderly manner

· 
Ensure that Health and Safety standards are maintained across the business, with a particular focus on Slide Operations.

· 
Ensure that the attraction is presented and maintained to the highest standards.

Above all, you'll aim for the highest levels of safety, care and security for staff and visitors in all that you do and be the driving force behind a truly memorable visitor experience.

·  You have a hands-on, can-do attitude, are willing to take on a wide variety of tasks and enjoy being part of a team.
·  Your organised and flexible approach means you're adept at managing a varied workload, and we can rely on you to work effectively even during the busiest times.
·  You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
·  You should also have the ability to take ownership and problem-solve, even in stressful situations.
·  Previous experience within a customer or visitor focussed environment is advantageous.
