Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE's Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition. Context:

The GEM Back Office Department is looking for a Trade Business Support Analyst, cleared and OTC side.

Role:

Your mission Within the trading support department, you: - will be managing day to day operations on Gas, Power, Oil and Emission trades - reconcile & validate deals inputted by sales and traders (OTC & Exchanges) - are checking derivatives products bookings & expiry levels - are responsible for issuing and matching deal confirmations, invoices & settlements - liaise with front office & other support functions for a better trading floor activities understanding - assist the team on their day to day tasks - contact and follow up counterparties regarding confirmations and late payment - cooperate with the other departments - will handle requests received in the mailbox

Brussels, ENGIE TOWER

Travels:

Occasional to Paris

Education and professional background:

- graduated with a finance/management/Economics degree - at least 2/3 years experience in a similar role

Hard skills:

- experience in a complex environment, particularly in dealing rooms/Back-office/Middle Office - experience with multiple points of contact and complex cases/situations - knowledge of OTC & Cleared Derivative and Transaction Cycle (Front office to Accounting) - strong knowledge in the commodities : Oil, Gas, Power, Coal, Emission - you are comfortable with the Efet, ISDA standard - you control margin call (Otc and Cleared) and cash payment mechanisms ( LC, bonds) - client focused and willing to have extensive interactions with Sales, Trading, Market Risk, Finance - well-versed in office tools (in particular Excel) - strong affinity with IT systems, digital way of working & information systems (Meteor - Reuters - Bloomberg). A very good knowledge of VBA is appreciated

- business minded & good customer relations skills - analytical mindset - good organisational skills - teamplayer - curious by nature - you are thorough, independent and you take initiative - pro-active - stress resistant and able to work under pressure with deadlines - as a key user you are able challenge the process and interact with the IT

Languages:

- fluent in French & English - knowledge of Spanish or Dutch is a plus
