Offshore Wind (Hoboken) is looking for a Quality Engineer for the Quality Department (Quality Assurance/Quality Control).

Your mission
·  act as single point of contact towards the client for quality related issues
·  create and check the quality related project documents
·  check and follow up of all quality related documentation of suppliers
·  attend and witness at factory acceptance tests of equipment at suppliers facilities
·  check and follow up of quality of construction works and testing of the LV AUX scope of the projects on the yard, by performing spot checks based on Fabricom good craftsmanship rules and project specific quality requirements (norms, contract)
·  assist and follow up of the commissioning activities
·  detect and report of the non-conformities per project
·  facilitate per project the Punch Process and manage the Punch management tool
·  support the quality team with personal expertise and experience
·  execute audits on internal work processes
·  participate in projects for continuous improvement
·  backup for diverse administrative tasks
·  attend visitors on the yard for quality related issues
·  you report to the Team Leader Quality

Your profile
·  level Master, technical secondary education or equivalent by experience
·  basic knowledge of quality systems
·  experience with inspection of welding and paint works
·  experience with installation techniques for electrical or mechanical equipment or of corrosion protection is a plus
·  experience of inspection and testing of electrical systems
·  basic knowledge of quality systems
·  affinity for administrative tasks
·  knowledge of safety related processes, procedures and systems
·  good knowledge of Excel, Word, Office and Outlook
·  ability to work independent. You work efficiently and adapt well to changes
·  planning and execution: you are result oriented, with respect to instructions and procedures
·  professionalism: you use your expertise and knowledge and also share them in the team
·  innovative and solution oriented: you analyze and use common sense
·  communication: you communicate in an effective way
·  interaction: you are a team player
·  fluently in reading, writing and speaking in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is recommended
