Position Summary

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and on-time delivery of sales proposals and formal RFP responses. This role manages coordinated efforts to help achieve sales goals and present the company in a favorable light to clients and prospective clients.

Role Description

· 
Writes, customizes, and submits high-quality, compelling sales proposals—including responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs—on deadline. Works closely with a variety of stakeholders to manage and coordinate the collection and vetting of information.

· 
Gains a working knowledge of the full array of available products and services and effectively represents ENGIE Impact and its capabilities to our clients or potential clients during the bid and proposal process.

· 
Ensures all pre-bid information is completed, including submittals of intents to bid, questions, and pre-qualifications.

· 
Reviews and updates material stored in content management system as appropriate.

· 
Establishes and maintains relationship with a network of key internal and external contacts as resources for communications efforts. Keeps current on new product development, sales strategies, and competitors.

· 
Models a professional work ethic based on integrity, mutual respect, and commitment. Exercises tact and discretion in working with others. Contributes to a successful work environment as a supportive team player and consensus builder.

Role Competencies

·  Bachelors' degree in relevant field.
·  A solid background in proposal and other business document preparation is a requirement for this role. Must have the ability to analyze and optimize documentation for the intended audience.
·  Excellent command of English grammar, usage, and composition is required, as are good oral communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Strong detail orientation and competence in general business skills.
·  Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and to adapt to changing priorities.
·  Ability to format complex proposal documents within Microsoft Word and Excel, including creation of supporting documentation and/or forms.
·  Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, maintaining effective relationships and fostering a positive attitude in a professional fast-paced environment.
·  Minimum of 5-years of directly related work experience.
·  Ability to build collaborative work relationships with a diverse group of individual contributors, both internal and external, and motivate teams and stakeholders to achieve desired results.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·  Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
·  Strong organizational and planning skills.
·  High level of knowledge about Ecova business systems and processes preferred.
·  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project or other project management toolset, MS Office products, Visio.
·  Experience using Qvidian Proposal Automation desired.
