ENGIE are recruiting for a Project Painter to be based at Torness Nuclear Power Station . This is a fixed term role up to 12 months working full-time, 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive and benefits package.
MONDAY - FRIDAY 08.00 - 16.00PM


As an effective member of the Hard Services Team, you will be focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to work within the team in a changing business environment. Duties include providing a wide variety of skills on site, mainly to maintain building fabric and plant related items, providing high standards from industrial coating to decoration, working with machinery and hand tools, awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

Ability to follow work instructions (Work Order Cards and Permits to Work)

· 
Competent to perform Point of Work Risk Assessment

· 
Understand the safe use of COSHH and its control measures

· 
Flexible approach to work and use own initiative

· 
Develop effective working relationships with appropriate parties

· 
Be a team player with good communication skills

· 
Overcome challenging situations

· 
Providing high standards of industrial coating

· 
Providing high standards of decretive skills

· 
Willingly contribute to the overall team and company objectives, responding quickly to new directives and challenges

· 
Can read, understand and apply safe working practices in challenging environments

· 
Able to work to strict time scales and complete relevant paperwork

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Experience of working on Nuclear sites preferred but not essential
·  Recognised Apprentice
·  ICATS or similar
·  Experience in industrials coating
·  Previous job related experience / qualifications Driving Licence is desirable
·  An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment is essential, particularly in the use of hazardous substances and their controls.
