Main Activities:

As part of its development plan in EMEA region, GEM business unit within ENGIE is looking for a Power Trader. As part of front office team you will participate: • Power trading activities: o Daily trading process, curve marking, P&L validation, risk monitoring… o Trading OTC and Exchanges o Developing trading strategies o Pricing for customers o Origination and Business Development (in support origination team) o Looking for synergies with other ENGIE Group activities in Turkey and in the region o Implement fundamental analysis o Develop networking, regulation watch… • Baymina implementation in merchant operation o Preparing operational set up dedicated to operate Baymina in merchant mode is a key objective for the team. Upon management request you will participate project dedicated to this objective. Ability to develop IT solution and document organizational process will be valuable for the project. o Participate shift spot dispatching trading of the power plant (requiring week end shift) • Taking part in the implementation of the defined setup in cooperation with the local teams in Turkey and central teams in Paris and Brussels and with the support of a project team: o IT processes, Entity/book structure setup, licenses, contracts, FO to Accounting processes and systems, risk framework… o Counterparts on-boarding (in cooperation with KYC, credit team) As a trader, you will have to: • Respect GEM compliance rules and trading handbook • Respect GEM risk policies: AML & Credit policies, Market Risk limits… • Cooperate and provide necessary information towards the different departments with which you have to interact

Education and professional background:

• Bachelor in Engineering/Finance/Mathematics or equivalent through experience • first experience in energy trading

Hard skills:

Technical/Business Skills • In depth knowledge of energy markets in Turkey • Experience in power trading and production asset dispatching • Very good understanding/knowledge of physical gas & power business and operations • Digital culture

Soft skills:

Behavioural Skills • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply those skills in a practical fashion • Strong work ethic, attention to details and risk awareness • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, team-based, results-oriented environment • Strong organizational and communication skills • An attitude and practice of proactive idea generation and continuous review and improvement of processes
