The Role: Operations Transaction Analyst II


Purpose
Operations Transactions Analyst needed for a rapidly growing energy retail company.  A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of industry experience and a detailed knowledge of retail energy billing and CRM systems.  Includes functional competence in all daily transactions and billing functions.

Essential Job Functions
·  Monitor Daily Enrollments, Transactions and Customer files
·  Assist in the maintenance of process documentation of all operation processes including but not limited to enrollments, customer service, billing, transactions, renewals, and collections
·  Assist Sales in coordinating resolution of issues by working with relevant groups to close issues.
·  Maintain a solid understanding of the various systems to mine data and assist with contract issue resolution.
·  Follow through on action required to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
·  Process add/delete/assignments for all segment of customers.
·  Back-up the Account Manager in account services tasks.
·  Handle early contract terminations and minimize financial impact.
·  Resolve customer exceptions for both inbound/outbound EDI Transactions.
·  Open/Monitor/Resolve MarkeTrak transactions for the TX market, ensure accurate processing, and redirect fees appropriately.
·  Gather and verify data against many different data sources.
·  Escalate unresolved issues to Account Manager
·  Comply with all Think Energy policies and procedures. 

Essential Physical Abilities

·  Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
·  Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
·  Could involve some lifting.

Education/Experience

·  Four year degree in business or equivalent experience
·  2-5 years of retail energy experience related to customer operations and products required
·  Experience with working with billing vendor, EDI vendor and care vendor is a plus
·  Experience with Access Database/SQL is a plus.
·  SAP and/or Siebel Energy experience preferred
·  ESCOWare experience preferred
·  Knowledge of the Retail Energy Market and Alternative Gas and Supplier business practices and requirements.
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
·  Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
