The Role: Natural Gas Scheduler

Purpose
Perform and coordinate natural gas pipeline scheduling activities, assist in optimizing existing transportation and storage contracts and coordinate with accounting to insure correct invoicing of physical gas activities.

Essential Job Functions
·  Interface with natural gas pipelines to schedule all gas volumes transacted by EEMNA.
·  Coordinate with trading desk to communicate and remedy all imbalances and volume discrepancies
·  Work with EEMNA mid office to ensure all physical gas flows are actualized correctly and entered into ETRM system.
·  Assist in automation of pipeline nominations process
·  Assist in understanding supply/demand balance on different regional pipeline systems

Requirements

·  Excellent analytical skills
·  A strong working knowledge of US North American natural gas pipeline operations and constraints.
·  Strong professional network of Interstate and Intrastate pipeline representatives.
·  Clear and effective communicator. Willingness to engage in dialogue and debate with colleagues
·  Can work autonomously and be flexible
·  Proficiency in Excel, VBA a plus.

Essential Physical Abilities

·  Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
·  Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
·  Could involve some lifting.

Education/Experience

·  A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or similar discipline
·  Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
