Engie is the largest Tier 1 Supplier to EDF at Hinkley Point B (the Operational Nuclear Power Station) in Somerset. We provide a Total Facilities Management solution for the site. The employment opportunities we offer at Hinkley B may provide people with a different work life balance to those offered at the construction site at Hinkley Point C. For example, we generally work slightly longer days Monday to Thursdays, with an early afternoon finish on Fridays as part of a 37.5 hour week, with regular opportunities for paid overtime at enhanced rates. On a pro rata basis, our rates of pay are comparable to HPC. You are also able to park on site, so do not have to rely on park and ride services.

ENGIE are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Civils Operative to be based in Bridgwater Hinkley Point B . This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:15
Friday 07:45 to 13:15 On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Able to prepare & manage personal work packages, & problem solve through to completion.

· 
Understand & apply safe working practices in a challenging environment.

· 
Able to understand and carry out point of work risk assessments.

· 
Contribute to setting to works/ De- briefs and overall team discussions when required.

· 
Flexible and able to respond to new directives and challenges.

· 
Be a team player with good communication skills.

· 
Problem solve in challenging situations.

· 
Able to prepare quantities of materials and arrange prices from suppliers.

· 
To deliver a variety of civil biased skills including but not limited to concrete and reinforcement, groundworks, building fabric repairs.

· 
Able to work in a physically demanding environment including confined spaces and work at height.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Time Served Joiner/ Carpenter (Essential)
·  General Building/ Maintenance Experience.
·  Plumbing Experience
